I was raised on some sunny beaches in California & Maui, misty grey days in Oregon, and big open spaces in Texas & Colorado. With all that moving, it was inevitable I would develop a curiosity for people from different places, and an affinity for how people live their best lives. I've worked in student services at Portland State University (PSU), as an arts administrator for The Regional Arts & Culture Council (RACC), and as a music instructor/band coach with the Rock n' Roll Camp for Girls and My Voice Music. Through music and education I became a mentor and now work at FUTURES, an awesome pilot study at The Regional Research Institute (PSU), that offers life coaching to first-year college students who have lived experience in foster care. All that planning, organizing and strategizing mojo has also been put to use as a founding board member of Friends of Noise! We are an organization dedicated to expanding all ages music access and mentorship for the Portland metro area. In my free time (ha ha), I am pursuing an MA in Adult Learning and Mentorship at Portland State University.
